Research

CAMA routinely conducts research projects that advance the industry's technical knowledge. Recently CAMA partnered with Dr. Arturo Schultz, Professor and Chair of the Department of Civil Engineering at the University of Texas at San Antonio, on a survey for masonry construction practices for post-installed anchors. CAMA has also performed research on power-actuated fasteners and the effects of concrete properties.

Currently, CAMA is working with Wiss, Janney, Elstner & Associates on the study of anchorage in high strength concrete. CAMA is also working with CSTB investigating adhesive anchors in early-age concrete.

All final research projects are available to CAMA members only. Contact us if you are interested in partnering to conduct research projects at info@concreteanchors.org.
